Effectively pitching your invention
- by Arik J. Bannister- Whether your goal is to land a licensing
deal with a major manufacturer, sell your product to Walmart™, or find
an investor with deep pockets to fund your project, you will need to
create a proposal to convince someone to do something. Your proposal
must convince your target that your product will benefit them
somehow. Entrepreneurs lose sight of this when trying to sell
or license their products. No one wants to know how cool or
great your idea is, they want to know that people will buy it...Read

Manufacturing
your invention
- by Arik J. Bannister
-
If you are planning to
manufacture and sell your invention on your own, this is where your
prototype and design plans will be really useful. Manufacturing can be
simplified when you have a working prototype of your invention. To
start out, contact a manufacturer who is familiar with new product

How to set
the price of your invention -
By Arik J. Bannister
- When manufacturing your own product, try to keep costs as low as
possible. This seems obvious, but here is why it makes sense from
a retail marketing standpoint.

Using press to sell your
invention -
By Arik J. Bannister -
Advertising with a budget may or may not be effective, it all depends on
a number of variables. Our focus, however, will be on how to advertise
for free. Free advertising is always more effective than paid advertising. When
we say “Free Advertising”, we are referring, of course, to getting
press. When potential customers see something about your product or
company in an advertisement, they immediately go into scrutiny mode.
They know they are being sold something...Read

Licensing your invention
- By Arik J. Bannister
-
No book or program on inventions would be complete without mention of
licensing, however, as my goal is to empower inventors to launch and
market a product on your own, licensing is a contrary route to that
end.
Nevertheless, I realize that some people are not comfortable with the
business end of things and would rather have someone else do the work
and give them a percentage of the profits...Read
